Some of the fifth class children got to go on a trip to Rua Red on Tuesday 12th April 2011. First we went into the art gallery and looked at the exhibition. There was a lot of abstract structures and art work. We really enjoyed looking at all of the art. Then we went into the workshop and Suzanne (the girl who works at Rua Red) gave us all different coloured paper. She told us that we were going to make a picture with collage. We cut out different shapes from the coloured paper, and then glued the shapes down onto a white page. We had great fun making our pictures and we think they turned out great!
