On Tuesday 14th June, 2011, St. Thomas’ S.N.S. were awarded a special merit award in Tallaght Library for our ‘Loco Cocoa’ entry in the Bí Gnóthach enterprise project. Nina, Ciara, Alexs and Mr. Murphy represented the school at the South Dublin County Enterprise Board run ceremony. Everyone at St. Thomas’ is delighted with the award, and only 8 entries were chosen to attend, out of a total of 37 entries in South Dublin. Well done to Ms. Hayes’ class (Room 11), and Mr. Murphy’s class (Room 7) for all their hard work. Together, they raised over 600 euros for Haiti. A special thanks to our S.N.A. Elaine who was vital to the project’s success. We are also very grateful to everyone in the school who helped us with the project.
