As part of the Heritage at HeArt project our class went on a trip to Massey’s Woods. We learned so much about different trees and had a great time completing a nature trail. We saw lots of interesting trees including a Giant Redwood and a Monkey Puzzle Tree. We collected leaves, cones and ferns and brought them back to the classroom to use in our Art project. All in all we had a fantastic day and we would highly recommend a trip to the woods.
