This year St. Thomas’ became the Tallaght chess champions. In the quarter finals we beat St. Mary’s Bancroft. In the semi-finals we beat Scoil Santain after a hard match. In the
final we beat Scoil Maelruain of Old Bawn three and a half to one and a half. We worked very hard and it paid off by becoming the Tallaght champions. The chess team
had great fun during the games of the Tallaght league tournament.
