On the 30th September 2013, my family and I went to RTE 2fm to go on the radio.
When we arrived outside Donnybrook we saw a big satellite for RTE 2fm!! (It was amazing!) After that we drove down to the RTE 2fm Radio Station and we parked and had to wait for around 2 minutes because we were a little bit early.
Finally, we got out of the car and made our way up the stairs. It was very weird because we had to press a button and then talk to a man, he was funny! After we spoke to him, he opened the door for us and we took a seat in the room. About 1 minute later, a nice girl called Dirren came up to us and brought us down the stairs. She told us to sit in the waiting area.
They brought us in to see everyone around 7:45am. We saw Alan, Hector, Dirren, another fella and the newsreader. They were all very nice! After seeing everyone, we sat back down in the waiting area. At 8:35am, the newsreader came out and gave us our pieces that we were going to read out on the news. At last we were called to broadcast the news live on the radio!

We had a great time and we saw lots of computers and DJ stuff. After all the excitement, we went back to school!
