After reading the book ‘Flat Stanley’ by Jeff Brown, our class decided to do our own Flat Stanley project. We sent Stanley to visit Ms Doyle’s brother Anthony in Vancouver, Canada.
Anthony showed Stanley all the sights. He saw the ice hockey stadium, BC Place where the Vancouver Whitecaps soccer team play, Science World, the Lionsgate Bridge and he even got to go to the beach. His favourite part of Vancouver was the huge park – Stanley Park!
Anthony and Stanley emailed us and sent photos to show us what they were getting up to! They had a great time. Anthony posted Stanley back last week so we hope he makes it back to Jobstown before the summer holidays!
