This month the Junior Reading Unit have been learning all about animals. We read poems about under the sea and made a display about what we had read.

First, we painted the background blue using sponges. While we were doing this, other children in the class were painting fish and making coral, seaweed and jellyfish using tissue paper. Another group were making a sea turtle. Miss Farrell drew a big turtle for us and we tore pieces of green and brown paper and stuck them on. This made a nice texture. Lastly, we added in divers, crabs, seahorses, starfish, shells and an anchor from a shipwreck. What do you think of our hard work!
