We have been learning about the Ancient Aztecs in History this month.
Did you know?
- Their capital city was called Tenochtitlan, where Mexico City is today.
- They believed in many different gods and they sacrificed humans for the gods!
- They made beautiful jewellery and masks.
- The words chocolate, tomoato, avocado and chilli all came from the Aztecs.
- They ruled for 300 years until the Spanish came.
