Ms. Barry’s and Ms. Surlis’ classes had a wonderful day in the Helix at the 10th Annual FÍS Awards. St. Thomas’ were one of 24 primary schools from all over the country who got through to the FÍS finals. We were delighted to win the award for Creative Adaptation for our version of the Oscar Wilde Story ‘The Selfish Giant’.
Well done all the boys and girls for all their hard work. It’s a great achievement. Here are some photos of our great day out and viewing of the movie in our school before the big day out. A huge thank you to all the sisters, parents and grandparents who came to watch our film and came with us to the Helix. We hope you enjoyed the day as much as we did.
