We released our butterflies into our school garden. We watched them grow and change from caterpillars in our classroom. We fed them with fruit, flowers and nectar we made from water and sugar. We really loved watching them come out from their chrysalises and holding them in our hands before we released them. Ms. Barry’s class joined us when we released them. Here are some photos of them growing and changing from tiny caterpillars into beautiful Painted Lady butterflies and videos of them in their habitat and us releasing them in our school garden. Big thanks again to Anna for getting them for us. We really loved having them.
