Over the last month we have been working very hard in Geography. We compared different weather environments in Ireland and Egypt. We decided to create a globe and plot both Ireland and Egypt on it.
First we got balloons and put a lot of hard work and effort into pasting paper maché onto our balloons.
Then we let the balloons dry before painting the globes blue for the sea, which we know covers lots of planet earth.
After this we painted the Arctic and Antarctica regions white.
Next we drew on the Equator line using Permanent marker.
Before finally we pasted on a coloured map of Ireland and Egypt.
We had great fun hanging them outside our class room!!! Have a look at them…..
