We are a very Active School! We like football, skipping, basketball, dance and all sorts of fun sporting activities, but can we run a full marathon?
A marathon is 42 kilometres. 1 lap of our Astro Turf pitch is 400m. We worked out that to run a full marathon we would need to run 105.5 laps of the Astro Turf.
The entire school took part, teachers and SNAs included! Altogether, our school ran 19 full marathons. Mr. Lydon’s 3rd class ran the most laps.
Well done everyone. There are definitely some future Olympians in our school!
