Term two ended with a jam packed month. We planted lettuce seeds which will soon be replanted in the school garden. Some children have taken on the responsibility of looking after these seeds over the Easter holidays. We enjoyed a fantastic week for Seachtain na Gaeilge which ended with a Céilí in the hall. Wellbeing week took place the first week of April and during this week we learned how to stay healthy. We were surprised to learn how much sugar is in our food, we participated in a Zumba class and we took part in activities to promote mindfulness. We carried out lots of experiments while learning about capacity and also saw how pedal power can create electricity. We ended Term 2 with an Easter party where we raffled off lots of Easter eggs to celebrate a GREAT TERM 2
