We have been so busy in Room 10 since we started 5th class. We have already learned a lot in all of our subjects. Our class are currently working on Powerpoint Presentations about how the Ancient Greeks lived and we have been filming interviews as Gaeilge (we hope to upload some of them here really soon!). As well as all that, we have already completed four weeks of cricket and started working with Turtle from OWLS. We are really looking forward to our next visit from her and excited to see what we will be doing with her.
We have settled in well into our new room and our new corridor but we thought it could use a splash of art here and there. Here are some of the amazing pieces of art we have created. We sketched fruit using chalk, created a class tree inspired by the work of the artist Kandinsky and sketched some self-portraits. Take a look at our creations below…
