We have been doing lots of cool science experiments over the past few weeks.

As part of Science Week we were challenged to create the tallest, strongest rocket. In groups, we received sellotape and 100 straws. We had to figure out how to make a free-standing rocket. Take a look at the video below to see how we got on…

This week we were learning all about wood and its relationship with water. We discovered that wood floats in water, then tried to make rafts using lolly pop sticks. Our rafts first had to float. Then our teacher gave us weights. The group who’s raft could hold the most weight won points for their group. Have a look at some of our rafts below…
