We are delighted to be back together in school after our busy Christmas holidays. We really enjoyed the break!
We’ve started learning all about fractions in maths and An Aimsir in Irish. We’ve even gave weather reporting a go as Gaeilge.
We love using the Reading Eggs website. It’s a really fun way of helping us to learn how to read!
Our favourite part of our first week back was learning all about The Normans. Our teacher stuck facts up all around the classroom and we had to try and find as much information about them as we could.
We used bottle caps in art to print our names. It’s was a fun way of painting and also allowed us to reuse an item before recycling it. We’re really trying to remember the three Rs in room 27 – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
We’re really looking forward to what’s going to happen this term. We’re even getting the chance to go swimming for 8 weeks!
