In our class for the past couple of weeks we have been learning all about Irish Aid and the amazing work they do to help people in need. They have 8 partner countries – 7 in Africa and 1 in Asia. They are Ethiopia, Malawi, Mozambique, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Vietnam.
As part of the project we learned all about the UN Global Goals for Sustainable Development. There are 17 goals which were written by 193 country’s Leaders in 2015.
As part of the project we edited the lyrics to one of our favourite songs – Happier by Bastille and Marshmello. Take a listen and hopefully you will see why the Global Goals are so important.
The UN leaders hope that they will be achieved by 2030. We’ve got 11 years to go. Let’s all play our part to Leave No One behind.
