After reading a Haiku poem during Guided Reading the pupils wanted to read more so we read some more Haiku poems about animals and then created our very own!
A Haiku is a really fun poem. It is a Japanese poem with 3 lines. There are 3 syllables in the first and last line and 7 syllables in the middle line.
