Today we were very lucky to have past pupil of St. Thomas’ SNS Robbie De Courcy, FAI Development Officer for South Dublin join us online to talk to us about the education project Show Racism The Red Card. Robbie didn’t come alone, he also invited Shamrock Rovers centre back Roberto “Pico” Lopes to talk to our 6th class pupils about his experiences as a modern day footballer in Ireland. The students got the opportunity to ask Roberto lots of wonderful questions which he was only too happy to answer! There was a great buzz among the 6th class students in St. Thomas’ SNS today! Many thanks to Robbie, Roberto and of course the FAI and Shamrock Rovers!!
