We were off to an exciting start in December as we completed our final mile for our Marathon Kids Programme on the 1st December at the running track in Tallaght Athletics Club in Greenhills. Everyone who competed got a lovely t-shirt and medal. We are so proud of ourselves that we have run the distance of a full marathon -26.2 miles!!!! You can see more pictures below
We have also been learning lots about The Famine this month! We leant about The Famine in Ireland in 1845 and Famine around the world. We did amazing projects on The Great Famine. Esther brought us in some books from Tallaght library all about The Famine and we have been enjoying reading them during our DEAR time! Take a look at our projects
We have really been getting into the Christmassy mood in room 8 this month! We’ve had Hot Chocolate Parties, Christmas Jumper Day, we watched the Helix Panto, we’ve been listening to lots of Christmas songs and we have done loads of lovely Christmas art!
