We are so excited for Christmas in Rm 27. We have worked so hard this term and we are ready to enjoy the festive holidays! We have been learning all about the southernmost continent, the Antarctica. We learnt about Tom Crean, an Irish explorer who made three expeditions to The South Pole. We also studied the magnificent animals that inhabit the Antarctica and we particularly like the penguins. We made our own projects about all our learning! We hope you like our ‘Winter Wonderland’ art display. We created penguins from the South Pole and drew polar bears from the North Pole. We also created cute 3D snowmen! We loved our visit with the main man from the North Pole, there was great excitement! Have a lovely Christmas everyone and stay safe! ⛄
