We have been learning all about Light in Mr. Carroll’s class!
We learned that that:
- light is a form on energy
- light waves travel faster than sound wavesÂ
- white light can be split into 7 colours of the rainbow (Ring Out Your Great Bells In Victory – Red Orange Yellow Green Blue Indigo Violet ) – we saw this using a prisim and our special light glasses.
- light rays travel in straight lines only – that how shadows are made
- light can be reflected off a smooth surfaceÂ
