Dear Parents and Guardians

ATTEND TODAY, ACHIEVE TOMORROW!

Beginning on Monday 18th November we will have an attendance drive.  This means that there will be a special focus on the importance of regular school attendance and explained absences.  Regular school attendance is an important life skill that will help your child be successful in the future.

The students will experience some fun activities in school during the week and each class will have an attendance raffle.  Every child will be given one ticket for a raffle.

In addition – for every day they attend school they will be given a ticket.  If they attend school every day during the attendance drive they will get 6 tickets for the class raffle.  The draw for the raffle will take place in each class at different times during the following week (25th-28th Nov).

If for any reason your child cannot attend school due to illness, appointments or other reasons – they will still get a raffle ticket for that day as long as their absence is explained by you. There are many ways to do this.

In October 2024 we had a school wide attendance rate of just over 91%.  With your help we can make this even better!

Please take the opportunity to talk to your child about the importance of regular school attendance and having good night and morning routines which will help them to attend school every day.
