There will be an attendance drive from Monday 24th March – Friday 28th March in our school.  During this week we will be reminding parents, guardians and students about the importance of regular school attendance and explaining absences.

The theme for this attendance drive is Attend Today, Achieve Tomorrow

Each class will have an attendance raffle.  Every child in the class will receive one raffle ticket and each day that your child attends school they will receive an additional raffle ticket.  If your child attends school every day during the week they will have six tickets for the raffle.

If your child is not in school due to illness they will get a raffle ticket for that day if the absence is explained by a parent or guardian.

There are a number of ways that parents and guardians can explain absences.

  • Eolas App (if you need any help accessing the app on your mobile device contact Julie (HSCL) 0830092792)
  • Note to your child’s teacher in their journal
