The Student Council was formed last year. We get to do things in the student council like making money for the school by selling hot chocolate. It was a big success and we made over 300 euro for the school. We hald a competition and it was great fun. We got a notice board. It is in the hall and we also got a suggestion box which you can put your ideas in.
When Fr. Val was leaving we did a guard of honor for him and we said good bye for the last time. When Mr Mellrick was leaving we made a poster to say goodbye. At Grandparents day we welcomed the people in and we gave them their tea and sandwiches and showed them to their seats.
Our latest competition is you have to draw what you think Jobstown will look like in 2100. We also have a radio show this Friday, and that’s all for now from the student council.
