In Mr. Carroll’s class we did some more learning about the respiratory system today. This time by taking a trip inside the human body to take a closer look at the lungs! We could see that the left lung was smaller than the right lung, this is to make room for our heart. We also took a peak inside the lungs and could see the trachea, the bronchi and the alveoli. Finally we got to compare a set of healthy lungs to the lungs of a smoker! Take a look at us hard at work.
