We are really enjoying taking part in the STEAM Biology programme. So far we have learnt about the Respiratory system, the Cardio-vascular system and this week we explored the Muscular-skeleton system. We learnt about the major bones in our body. We have 206 bones. The Femur which is your thigh bone is the strongest and heaviest bone! The smallest bone is in your ear! We learnt about how your bones work alongside your tendons, ligaments and muscles to allow your body to move. Have a look a at the hands we made. The straws represent the bones in our hands and the strings act as our muscles. This was tricky to make but we are proud of our work!
