Today a group from Mr Carroll’s class (Sophie M, Sophie C, Megan and Ava) worked on Data in Maths. The investigation question was;
Are there equal amounts of each type of sweet in a tub of celebrations?
You can see the results of the group investigation in the photos. We were surprised by the results, we thought that there would be a more equal amount of each type of sweet in each tub.
Next week we will work out the average number of sweet type in the tub. Who knows, might have to try this with another tub of sweets to make this a fair test 😉
