The pupils in Room 26 wrote some recounts about their first swimming session. Read all about Anwar’s experience below.

Last Thursday morning our class went swimming in Tallaght Leisure Centre. Before all that Ms Gill partnered everyone up. I was partnered with Clodagh. We had to wait at the hallway for the bus.

Minutes later we went out for the bus. Ms Graham’s class were super excited. We all got on the bus and buckled up.M y class were singing ‘Wheels on the bus’. I was nervous but when we got there I felt confident.

Every person got in a cubicle and got changed. Ms Gill was proud of how quick we changed. Pool Time!

Ms Graham led us to the pool. There were 4 lifeguards. They gave everyone a number. I was number 4. They did a test to see if people could swim. I and other people did not know how to swim. We did many activities and at last it was time to go.

When people were changing the people who changed  quickly waited for the people whom were still changing. After all that we got back to the bus. All of us were happy heads! Finally we were at class devouring our food. I can’t wait for next week’s swimming at Tallaght Leisure Centre.
