The match took place in Thomas Davis Park against St. Martin’s in Oldbawn .
The positions played in the 2nd half were as follows;
Leah Preston as goalie .
Maddison Gorman , Elisha Karanja , Khyra Canning as full back line.
Rose Geoghegan , Caoimhe Murphy , Kayla McGowan as wing back line .
Abi Burns Henderson , Lorraine Deegan as midfield .
Hannah Joyce , Layla Hall , Aoife Ennis as wing forward line .
Jessica Fitzpatrick , Ciara Hanley , Layla Hogan as full forward line .
Conditions on the day were unpredictable as the weather was windy,drizzly and cold throughout.
The score for St. Martin’s was 2 goals 3 points and the score for St. Thomas SNS was 0 points 0 goals .
Despite a tough game for the St. Thomas the girls maintained an excellent attitude throughout the game and displayed a great skill set and excellent team work.
One more huge thank you to all the supporters and teachers as they kept the player’s morale up and ensured a positive atmosphere.:)
