We’ve been doing some work on Fabric and Fiber in art during May and last week we made these woven wheels. We used paper plates, wax crayons, black paint, wool, straws and a little bit of Maths to make them. First we measured out 16 equal points on our paper plate, then we used crayons to create a colourful pattern. We then painted this with black paint and used a straw to make a shape in the wet paint. When the plate was dry we used wool to create woven patterns on top.
We’re really happy with how they turned out!
