Today Ms.Daly’s Class went to the ‘Little Museum of Dublin’. It is a museum all about Dublin. It has artefacts from the past and more recent ones. We saw an old train, typewriters, old Irish toys, aretfacts from the Irish Times like typewriters and stamping kits. My favourite artefact was the ‘Grip Machine’ from an old Dublin carnival. – Brandon
We had a workshop called ‘Loving Dublin’. We had to pick our favourite artefacts and I chose Monster Munch crisps that were painted gold. I also like the phone artefact, It was attached to the wall and it had a dial to ring numbers. I really liked the ‘Irish Times’ room where we got to stamp our own headlines. I loved it so much and would recommend people to visit. – Abbie
We were learning all about Dublin and tourism and today we got to see lots of tourist attractions in the city. We saw Trinity College, Shelbourne Hotel, The Spire, Irish craft shops, St.Stephen’s Green Shopping cerntre, Georgian and Victorian style houses. We even got to visit St.Stephen’s Green park. It was beautiful. – Heidi
My favourite part was when I fed the birds today in the park. Then I scared them away and they flew up into the sky. The ponds were all frozen because it was cold. – Niamh
It was a brilliant day and we got lots of photos – have a look!
