Faith from Birdwatch Ireland visited Ms. Beirne’s class to teach us about Irish Birds. We learned about all the different breeds of birds and we also made seed cakes for the birds to eat. We are taking it in turns to spot the birds that visit our school garden and the bird houses that have been put up. If you are quiet enough you may meet the two friendly bluetits that come to our window every day to eat from the bird feeder. We are really lucky as soon we will be able to watch the birds up close through a secret video cam that is linked to our classroom!
