A huge congratulations to our u’11 Gaelic Footballers who recently finished 2nd in their GO-GAMES Group. The boys put in some great work since the middle of September training on Thursday afternoons up in the Astro, which was rewarded by finishing second in their group.
The boys played five games altogether. They narrowly lost out in the opening two games to St. Aidan’s and St. Martin De Porres respectively. The boys were very unlucky in both these games. The boys then knuckled down, trained hard and went on a winning streak of three wins in a row!
Next, we defeated primary schools in Bancroft and Saggart in two very close matches. This left us with our final game against Glencullen. The boys had a fantastic win in their final match winning on a scoreline of 4-02 to 0-5.
