Storm Emma and the “Beast from the East” brought a lot of wind and snow over the past week. The strong winds combined with heavy snowfall caused a lot of difficulties for a lot of people. St. Thomas’ Senior National School was closed until today because of the large accumulations of snow! We’re delighted to have all of our pupils and staff back safe and sound. We heard lots of wonderful stories about people in the community of Jobstown helping each other and making sure that everyone was safe and that nobody was in difficulty.
